Scholabra is an online school organiser which enables schools and teachers to record notices, homework, school events and other information about the school, which is available on-line to parents and students. Scholabra also provides easy access to a wide range of web based educational resources for students, parents and teachers.
Planners can contain a full range of school information, from term dates, timetable, equipment, school rules and notices, all easily accessible from home.
Teachers can create notices and events, set homework and make appointments, and can guarantee delivery of this information direct to parents without student ‘intervention’.
The text can be formatted in a variety of ways and can include links to web sites, graphical images, emoticons and attachments for applications such as MS Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
Scholabra has in-built security. Notices, events and appointments can be accessed only by the parents of specified individuals. When creating notices, events, appointments etc. the teacher must select who has access to it.
Pastoral tutors automatically have access to notices sent to their students, unless they are marked as private.
