AIM High has a number of tools to help teachers with report writing and recording assessments.

Reports are automatically spell-checked as they are being entered. Teachers can make spelling changes or add words to a dictionary.

Teachers can create Phrase Lists where phrases can be grouped into categories. These categories can then be switched ‘on’ and ‘off’ as they are needed for each set of reports. Phrases can also be ‘shared’ with other colleagues if required.

Teachers can look back at previous reports for their subject or for all subjects written for a student - this is particularly useful if they are writing pastoral comments and want to see the subjects comments.

Teachers can view photos of students as they are entering reports. If you have only recently taken over a group or only teach a group periodically, this feature is particularly useful.

Tracksheets can be created with as many columns as required. Columns can completed by entering marks for each student, copying down from previous rows or copying data from one column to another.

Columns can be hidden and set to ‘Read-Only’ and the marks can be printed or be included in a report.

Marks can also be exported to an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis.
